For more than 15 years, Powervamp has been supplying its portable power packs (known in the military as Slave Starters), and other products to the UK MOD .The company exports world wide to foreign Armed forces and paramilitary organisations . 

With the emphasis on its range of portable packs for powering or starting all types of vehicles, helicopter and DC aircraft, the company has unrivalled experience in the starting and powering of a wide variety of armoured fighting vehicles, from the parallel/series start on a Russian BMP, to the Bradley, Leclerc, Abrams, Challenger and other APC's and MBT's.

With  the fire control and computer systems of modern Armour highly sensitive to over/under voltage and spiking, Powervamp's 28 volt military Slave starting packs use the same technology and systems  it developed  for starting civil and military "glass cockpit" helicopters  and Aircraft where tight voltage tolerance and spike free operation is critical.

When carrying out software updates or turret-operating and weapon system cycling , Powervamp's range of 1500/40 and 3000/80 combined slave starters with  integral power supply are ideal. They are  specified  and codified by many Armed Forces around the world.
