Powervamp recently showcased the diversity of their product range when invited by Textron Aviation’s Regional Director, Lisa Ferrari, to a small ‘fly-in’ held in Germany hosted for Cessna owners.
The aviation sales team were asked to support Cessna by providing power to their TTx aircraft which was being demonstrated at the fly-in.
The TTx (pictured above) is a single engine, low gear, general aviation aircraft manufactured from composite materials. The aircraft is powered by a turbo-charged Continental powerplant capable of 310 horsepower at 2600 rpm and is fitted with a Garmin G2000 glass cockpit.

The Cessna fly-in offered an informal opportunity for Powervamp to demonstrate a number of its general aviation DC power supplies & ground power units to a large number of private owners.
Cessna were offering demo flights in the TTx but when not in the air, the aircraft was connected to the PS50 28V power supply. The PS50 allowed the potential customers to witness the Garmin G2000 avionics operating whilst on the ground, and without draining the on board battery.
Textron’s Demonstration Pilot, Adam Cathcart, thanked the Powervamp team for exhibiting the equipment which was acknowledged as being instrumental in allowing the gathered pilots to witness the cockpit avionics in action, whilst on the ground.

Garmin’s Fabian Kienzle, who gave a well-received presentation on the various Garmin avionics systems, also expressed his appreciation of the technical assistance Powervamp had provided to support its product lines.
Fabian also commented on how well the Powervamp PS50 DC power supply worked with the Garmin G2000 and how the PS50 was the ideal equipment for updating the Garmin system as well as pilot training.
From providing all power to the static park at the recent Paris Airshow, to supporting Cessna at an informal fly-in, Powervamp’s product lines can offer a power solution for any aspect the of the aviation industry.
