Powervamp is pleased to announce that Panasonic UK have placed a second order for a further 6 x EF20-SFC frequency converters.
The frequency converters are to be used for domestic product testing within the export market where a switchable 50hz/60hz phase output was required to simulate the different power provided between the UK and US markets.
The Panasonic factory has been situated on the outskirts of Cardiff since 1976 and manufactures a range of domestic products including microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners and computers.

The new order follows on from the original placed in 2012 for 15 x 4.8kw-16kw single phase EF20-SFC units which were installed within the export production line and test laboratories. The highly successful EF20 range, with its ability to replicate a wide variety of voltages and frequencies, has been in production for the last 10 years and makes up over 20% of overall frequency converter sales.

- Global industries, in particular pharmaceutical where often US equipment is operated in the UK (60Hz)
- Avionics testing (400Hz)
