Powervamp Aviation division recently returned from the high profile AirVenture Oshkosh exhibition, Wisconsin, USA.  The show is billed as “The world’s greatest aviation celebration” and draws in crowds in excess of 500,000 from over 60 countries.  Over 10,000 aircraft land over the duration of the show turning the site into the busiest airport in the world for the seven days.

During the exhibition Powervamp was honoured to receive onto the stand, Joe Clark (inventor of the blended winglet), and Clay Lacy (test pilot and aviation icon), who were impressed with the range and quality of the products on display.

Mr Clark purchased a Powervamp Coolspool 17 GPU for his personal aircraft which he took away with him, but not before posing for a couple of photos.

Towards the end of the show, Powervamp came to the assistance of several visitors that experienced starting problems with flat batteries.  The dual voltage GA Pack came to the rescue ensuring that they could continue their journey home.  The 12/24 GA is a tough, budget-priced, dual voltage GPU designed for the private operator and general aviation. It uses the same top-quality, high discharge batteries as in other larger Powervamp packs.

Brian Clear, Powervamp’s VP North America Operations, Commented:

“This was our first time at Oshkosh and we had no preconceptions with what to expect. To be honest both myself, and the team, were blown away by the response we had over the course of the week.  The sales speak for themselves and we will certainly be re-booking for next year. ”

Powervamp’s aggressive marketing strategy means that it will be committing to many new exhibitions over the following twelve months with a view to showcasing its latest generation of products.
