Effekta means ‘Power’ in Swedish, summarizing in one word the company’s core strength of delivering rugged, reliable power solutions for a diverse range of critical applications. Founded in 1998 by Director Kevin Brown, the company manufactures and service products across the Static Inverter, Frequency Converter and Industrial UPS sectors, earning an enviable world wide  reputation for product  quality, factory support and reliability .

Effekta’s design team have developed their own in-house solutions working closely with Effekta Power Systems in Sweden. Effekta UK  has designed on their behalf the EPSD range of Static Inverters, which it markets directly in the UK

The  Effekta EF20 range is used for the larger units and utilizes the latest digital technologies (DSP’s) without compromising  reliability or the  ruggedness required in the market place.

Now part of the Powervamp group, Effkta UK supply single phase and three phase industrial uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and frequency converters (50Hz to 60Hz & 50Hz to 400Hz), and single phase and three phase inverters. The company also carry out project engineering and consultancy work, and are can  develop special products in niche markets, in cooperation with their technical partners.  The electronics for the  company’s range of solid state Aviation frequency converters are designed and manufactured at  Effekta’s Luton factory ,with  cabinet design and final assembly and test carried out at Powervamp’s Weston-Super-Mare factory, with the  finished dedicated Aviation 400Hz units being sold world wide under the Powervamp brand.
